Terms of use
Last updated 18 October 2026
About these terms
These terms apply when you use Find My Discs (findmydiscs.com and fmd.fyi), run by Corella Creations (ABN 66 361 275 501). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
Your account
- You need to be 13 or older. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Pick a display name that isn't offensive and doesn't pretend to be someone else.
Posting lost and found discs
- Describe discs honestly and only post discs you've genuinely lost or found.
- Only claim a disc if it's yours. Finders can ask you to describe something about the disc before handing it over.
- Don't sell or keep a disc you've found while its owner is looking for it, unless they've made it a bounty.
Handing discs back
- Handovers happen between players. Find My Discs helps you connect, but we aren't part of the arrangement and can't guarantee that a disc will be returned, or its condition.
- Rewards are a deal between the owner and the finder. We don't handle payments and aren't responsible if a reward isn't paid.
- If you meet in person, meet somewhere public. Keep chatting on Find My Discs rather than sharing your phone number or address unless you're comfortable doing so.
Stay safe on course
No disc is worth getting hurt over. Retrieving discs from water, trees, roads or out-of-bounds areas is at your own risk. Follow course rules and signs, and don't go onto private property without permission.
Bounties
When an owner turns a lost disc into a bounty, they're giving up their claim to it. Whoever finds it and has their claim approved (or automatically approved) can keep it.
Points and achievements
Points, ranks and achievements are just for fun. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged for anything. We may adjust or remove them if they've been earned through fake posts, made-up reunions or other misuse.
Things you can't do
- Harass, threaten, or be abusive towards other players.
- Post spam, scams, fake listings, or anything illegal.
- Share other people's personal information without their permission.
- Upload photos or content that you don't have the right to share, or that's unrelated to lost and found discs.
- Interfere with the service, try to access other people's accounts, or scrape it in bulk.
Your content
You own what you post. You give us permission to store, display and share it as needed to run Find My Discs, for example showing your post to people browsing the map. This permission ends when you delete the content, except for messages already delivered to other people.
We can remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.
Codes and QR tags
Disc codes and QR tags help finders reach you, but we can't guarantee that someone will find, scan or return your disc. Tags only keep working while your disc stays registered and your account exists.
The service
We're working hard to keep Find My Discs running smoothly, but it's provided as is. Features may change, and the site may sometimes be unavailable.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost or damaged discs, for what other players do, or for indirect loss arising from your use of Find My Discs.
Ending your use
You can stop using Find My Discs and delete your account at any time from your profile.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we'll let you know. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
